World Oceans Day is the United Nations
recognized day of ocean celebration and
action. This year, people all over our
blue planet are celebrating with the theme
“Healthy Oceans, Healthy Planet.”
Organizations and individuals around the
world are promoting prevention of plastic
ocean pollution with events in their
communities, special announcements, and
everything in between!

Join the Monterey Bay’s largest Earth Day
beach and river cleanup effort!
This Save Our Shores event is scheduled across
many great locations on
April 16th and 17th. Bring your friends
and family for a fun day in the sun.

Monterey, Santa Clara, Sonoma, Marin Counties
at a variety of times.

Join us on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of
each month for Marine Science Sunday -
a FREE engaging ocean-inspired
classroom series from our education
experts. These interactive classroom
programs are great for all ages!
Interactive classroom presentations
take you on a journey into the big
blue. Hosted by our expert education
team, these multimedia classes focus
on a new-topic each month, ranging
from Creatures of the Deep to
Endangered Species, you'll learn
fascinating facts about marine mammals
and their watery world.
